Most booking fares are eligible for accrual of KrisFlyer miles. However, for tickets booked in V, Q, G, N or T Class on Singapore Airlines and V, Q, G, N, T, L or W Class on SilkAir, no miles will be earned. If any Singapore Airlines and/or SilkAir itinerary has any sectors that are booked in one of these classes, those flight sectors on Singapore Airlines and/or SilkAir will be deemed ineligible for mileage accrual.

Please check with your travel agent or the relevant airline before making a reservation to determine the eligibility of your booking fare for mileage accrual.

To ensure that your KrisFlyer miles are credited to your account, please quote your KrisFlyer Membership Number every time you make a flight reservation. Also, present your KrisFlyer Membership Card at check-in.

If you are a member of more than one frequent flyer programme, the mileage for each flight or transaction can only be credited to one frequent flyer programme.

In the unlikely event that the KrisFlyer miles you have earned are not reflected in your KrisFlyer account statement, you can request for these miles to be credited retroactively. This applies to miles earned on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and with any of our partners. Miles earned on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights can be claimed online when you login. For miles earned with our partners, simply download and complete a Retroactive Mileage Claim form.

Your KrisFlyer miles are valid for three years, and you will be notified in your account statement before they are due to expire. As a KrisFlyer member, you may extend your miles once for six months at a nominal fee. If you are a KrisFlyer Elite Silver, KrisFlyer Elite Gold or PPS Club member, you may extend your miles for one year. Simply login to extend your KrisFlyer miles online.

Please note: KrisFlyer miles that have already expired cannot be extended.

You will receive a 15% discount on the usual number of miles required to any Singapore Airlines destination with electronic ticketing facilities when you redeem your KrisFlyer miles for award tickets or upgrades online.You will also receive the 15% discount when you redeem your miles online for award tickets to any SilkAir destination with electronic ticketing facilities.

If you have at least 50% of the KrisFlyer miles required to redeem for an award ticket, you may purchase the additional miles required to top-up your KrisFlyer account at US$40 (or the local currency equivalent) per block of 1,000 miles, using your credit card.

You can do so online, while you are making your Online Redemption Booking. The miles top-up will be effected immediately after successful payment.

To purchase the top-up KrisFlyer miles offline, you need to download and complete the Reservation and Miles Top-up Request form. Processing time is at least 3 working days.

Please redeem your KrisFlyer miles for award tickets before they expire. If you are travelling on an award ticket with a confirmed reservation but do not show up for the flight, it will be considered a no-show and relevant fees may be charged.

Please note: Ticketing must take place before the miles expire.

If you have completely unused award tickets, KrisFlyer miles can be re-deposited into your account for a nominal fee, provided the miles are still valid at the time they are re-deposited. However, partially used award tickets cannot be reissued and the KrisFlyer miles redeemed for them cannot be re-deposited into your account.

As a KrisFlyer member, you can nominate as many as five family members or friends for whom you can redeem your KrisFlyer miles for flight awards. Simply login to make your nominations online, or download and complete a Redemption Nomination form.
