Top-up the Miles You Need for an Award Ticket

Redeeming KrisFlyer Miles for Members 17 Years of Age and Below

Complimentary Stopovers

If you have at least 50% of the KrisFlyer miles required to redeem for an award ticket, you may purchase the additional miles required to top-up your KrisFlyer account at US$40 (or the local currency equivalent) per block of 1,000 miles, using your credit card.
You can purchase the top-up miles while you are making your online redemption booking. The purchase is effected immediately if the transaction is done online.

To top up offline, you will need to download and complete the Miles Top-up Request form. Turnaround time for offline miles top-up is at least 3 days.

As a KrisFlyer member, you can nominate as many as five family members or friends for whom you can redeem your KrisFlyer miles for flight awards. Simply login now to make your nominations online.

KrisFlyer members under 12 years of age are not eligible to redeem their miles for award tickets online, unless a Redemption Nominee 18 years old or above is travelling with him/her on the same flight.

KrisFlyer members 17 years of age and below are not eligible to redeem their miles online for third party award tickets, that is, redeem their miles for the travel of their nominees when they themselves are not travelling, as third party bookings are subjected to additional terms and conditions.

For parents or guardians of passengers between 12 and 17 years of age who are travelling alone, please download and complete the Unaccompanied Minors Assistance and Handling form. This form must be presented when collecting the ticket or during check-in.

You have a choice of twelve award types, each requiring different redemption mileage. Please refer to the table below for the validity and number of complimentary stopovers available with each award ticket type for Online Redemption Booking. Please note that a stopover is not a transit. A stopover means you will be in the stopover city for 24 hours or longer before your next flight.
